Ala-Kitka is a lake in northern Finland, located in North Ostrobothnia. It forms the lower or southern part of the Kitkajärvi lake system, commonly referred to as Kitka.
The lake is part of a connected freshwater system that supports typical northern Finnish outdoor activities such as boating, fishing and paddling; water clarity and forested shorelines characterize the area. It lies within a sparsely populated, boreal landscape.
