How to Get to Al Wakrah
Al Wakrah is a short drive or metro ride south of central Doha; the Red Line of the Doha Metro stops at Al Wakrah Metro Station and Hamad International Airport (DOH) is the main air gateway. For most visitors the metro is the easiest and most predictable option, with Karwa buses and taxis filling gaps for first/last-mile connections.
Hamad International Airport (DOH): Doha’s main international gateway is Hamad International (DOH). From DOH you can take a taxi (Karwa) to Al Wakrah in about 20-30 minutes (approx. Train: The Doha Metro Red Line serves Al Wakrah directly at Al Wakrah Metro Station (south of central Doha). From Msheireb or central Doha expect a metro trip of about 20-30 minutes to Al Wakrah; fares are roughly QAR 2-6 for standard travel.
