About Air Panas Banjar#

Air Panas Banjar is a fine place to enjoy the soothing waters of a hot spring while holidaying in Bali. The sulphur-laden water is perfect for easing the aches and pains of a long trek across the beautiful countryside, though many simply come to sit in the pools and take in the surrounding scenery.

The water pours into three pools from the mouths of eight stone sculptures of the dragon-like creatures known as naga, first filling the upper pool, then the largest pool on the lower level. It is a warm 37°C, and anyone in need of a soothing massage should seek out the lower pool, where the water tumbles down from four metres above.

Air Panas Banjar lies near Lovina beach, and there is a small restaurant nearby for anyone who fancies a meal while soaking. Quaint changing cabins provide privacy for getting into swimwear.
