Aínsa is best reached via the regional airports at Huesca or the larger Zaragoza airport; Barcelona or Zaragoza also work if you are combining with other travel. The final leg is usually by regional bus or car - Aínsa is in a rural, mountainous area where private transfer or rental car is often easiest.

By Air

Huesca-Pirineos (HSK): Small regional airport serving Huesca province. From Huesca city you can reach Aínsa by regional bus services (operators such as HIFE/ALSA run connections) - journey from Huesca to Aínsa is approx. 60-90 minutes and tickets are typically around €6-€15. A taxi or private transfer from Huesca to Aínsa is quicker (approx. 1-1.5 hours) but will cost substantially more (roughly €100-€160, depending on vehicle and time).

Zaragoza-El Pilar (ZAZ): Zaragoza is the largest nearby airport with more scheduled services. From Zaragoza Airport take the airport bus or taxi into Zaragoza estación (Zaragoza-Delicias) and then regional bus services (ALSA/other regional carriers) to Huesca and on to Aínsa; total travel time is commonly 2.5-3.5 hours and combined ticket/transfer costs (airport bus + intercity bus) are typically €20-€45.

By Train & Bus

Train: The nearest major railway hub is Huesca station (Huesca). Long-distance trains link Huesca with Zaragoza and Barcelona; expect 1-2 hours to Zaragoza and onward connections. From Huesca you need to continue by bus or taxi to reach Aínsa.
