Aguntum is the remains of a Roman town in the province of Noricum, located in what is today East Tyrol, Austria, and presented as an archaeological park.
The site preserves exposed foundations and partial structures such as a forum area, bathing complex, temple remains and an associated necropolis, together with museum displays of finds recovered during excavations.
Aguntum developed under Roman rule from the early imperial period and declined in the late Roman to early medieval centuries; its excavated remains document urban life in Noricum between the 1st and 5th centuries AD.
The archaeological park lies in East Tyrol near the modern town of Lienz and is accessible from regional roads serving the Lienz basin.
