Água Izé is reached overland from São Tomé (TMS) by taxi, aluguer or hire car. Public services exist but are informal and can be intermittent outside peak periods.
São Tomé International Airport (TMS): Água Izé is on São Tomé island’s eastern coast and reached from São Tomé city and the airport by road (allow 40-90 minutes depending on exact route and conditions). Airport taxis and private transfers are available.
Santo António/Príncipe Airport (PCP): Not used for direct access to Água Izé; travel via São Tomé then by road.
Train: No passenger rail services exist.
Bus & Minibus (aluguer): Shared minibuses and local buses connect Água Izé with São Tomé and neighbouring towns. Services are informal and vary in frequency - ask locally for departure points and times.
