Adams Museum & House

The Adams Museum & House is a local history museum and adjacent historic residence in Deadwood, South Dakota, preserving artifacts and stories from the Black Hills and frontier era. The museum was established in the early 20th century to collect and display objects connected with Deadwood’s history.

Exhibits cover regional topics including gold rush and mining history, early Deadwood life, and photographic collections documenting the town and surrounding area. The adjacent historic house displays period furnishings and domestic interiors to illustrate late 19th-century life in Deadwood.
