Abeno Harukas

Abeno Harukas is a mixed-use skyscraper in the Abeno district of Osaka, Japan, rising to 300 metres with 60 storeys and recognized as the tallest building in the country. The complex combines retail, office space, a large hotel and an observation deck.

Key attractions include the Harukas 300 observation decks near the summit, a multi-level Kintetsu department store occupying lower floors and the Osaka Marriott Miyako Hotel in the upper storeys. The building concentrates shopping, dining and panoramic viewpoints under one roof.

Construction was completed and the building opened in 2014, after which it quickly became a landmark on Osaka’s skyline and a transport hub because of its direct connections to Tennoji Station. The tower sits adjacent to Tennoji, a major railway and metro interchange in southern central Osaka.

Located in Abeno-ku, the tower is integrated with rail and metro links at Tennoji Station and lies within the dense urban fabric of Osaka city, making it highly accessible for visitors and shoppers.
