27 Waterfalls of Damajagua

27 Waterfalls of Damajagua (Spanish: 27 Charcos de Damajagua) is a chain of 27 natural waterfalls and pools on the Damajagua River near the town of Imbert in Puerto Plata Province, Dominican Republic. The feature is known for a linked series of drops and plunge pools that visitors traverse downstream.

The site comprises 27 distinct falls and pools arranged along the river, visited as a sequence rather than isolated single waterfalls. Organized excursions include walking, scrambling and guided canyoning down the line of pools with opportunities to swim, slide and jump between pools under guide supervision.

The waterfalls are a natural river formation. Local tourism operations developed commercial guided visits in recent decades to provide safe access and route management for visitors.

The waterfalls sit inland from the north coast of the Dominican Republic near Imbert, Puerto Plata Province, at a distance of roughly 20 kilometers west of the city of Puerto Plata.
