How to Get to Tabuelan
Tabuelan on northern Cebu is reached by land from Mactan-Cebu International Airport via the Cebu North Bus Terminal. There is no rail service; buses and vans are the normal public transport option and are inexpensive.
Mactan-Cebu International (CEB): Tabuelan (Cebu) is most easily accessed via Mactan-Cebu International Airport on Mactan Island. From CEB drive or take a bus to Tabuelan (northwestern Cebu) - the bus ride from the Cebu North Bus Terminal is about 2-3 hours depending on stops and traffic; fares are inexpensive (PHP 120-250).
Local airstrips: There are no commercial flights directly into Tabuelan; the CEB gateway plus land transport is the usual route.
Train: The Philippines’ island of Cebu has no intercity rail service.
Bus / van: From the Cebu North Bus Terminal take a northbound bus toward Hagnaya/Tabuelan; buses and vans (vía provincial routes) serve Tabuelan with journey times around 2-3 hours depending on service type. Fares are typically PHP 120-250 for air-conditioned buses and less for ordinary services.
