How to Get to São Luís Island
São Luís Island is served by Marechal Cunha Machado International Airport (SLZ) on the mainland just off the island. From the airport it is a short drive into São Luís city centre. The island is also accessible by road from other parts of Maranhão; local ferries connect certain smaller coastal points.
