Naga Travel Guide

The lively city of Naga is situated in the heart of Luzon. Featuring dozens of large churches and monasteries, this is a great place to visit if you are interested in architecture or religious art.

There are a number of universities located in and around Naga and the youthful population ensures that there are plenty of activities to take part in. Mountain biking and rock climbing are popular, while there are also a couple of hot springs located nearby to relax in after a day of physical exertion.

Push tricycles known as _podyak _are a popular form of transport in Naga and can be hired. If you are craving Western food there are plenty of Western-style coffee shops and restaurants to refuel in, and shopping is also a popular pastime here.

Getting There & Away

Naga has a large bus terminal and buses regularly arrive from Manila (8 hours), as well as other parts of the Philippines such as Isarog and Philtranco. The nearest airport is in Pili, making it possible to catch one of the regular flights from Manila (45 minutes) and then ride in a jeepney to the center of Naga (10 minutes)
