The Daren Sammy Cricket Ground is an international cricket stadium in Gros Islet, Saint Lucia, serving as the island’s main venue for international and domestic matches. It was developed in the early 2000s as a modern cricket facility for the eastern Caribbean.
The ground features pavilion seating, practice facilities and open spectator stands around a turf pitch; it regularly hosts One Day International and Twenty20 matches, including regional tournaments. Fans also attend special events and concerts staged at the venue.
Built to provide an international-standard venue for Saint Lucia and Windward Islands cricket, the stadium has staged ICC events and bilateral internationals. In 2016 it was renamed to honour Daren Sammy, Saint Lucia’s most prominent international cricketer.
