Mariscal Sucre / Quito (UIO) or José Joaquín de Olmedo / Guayaquil (GYE): Zamora (Zamora‑Chinchipe) does not have a large international airport with frequent international flights. Most international travellers fly into Quito (UIO) or Guayaquil (GYE) and continue overland. From Quito or Guayaquil the overland journey to Zamora typically takes 7-10+ hours by road; domestic flights to nearby regional airports (e.g., Loja/Catamayo LOH) can shorten the road leg.

Loja / Catamayo Airport (LOH): Loja (Catamayo) is the closest regional airport with domestic connections; from Loja the drive to Zamora is roughly 3-4 hours by road.
