Yanga National Park
National Park Protected Victorian park conserving wetlands and riverine habitats
How to Get to Yanga National Park #

The nearest larger centres are Mildura (about 2.5-3 hours northwest) and Wagga Wagga (about 3.5-4 hours east). High-clearance vehicles are recommended for some internal tracks after rain.
Tips for Visiting Yanga National Park #
- Drive slowly on park access tracks-wildlife crosses the road at dawn and dusk.
- Bring binoculars for waterbirds around Yanga wetlands; the best vantage is from the Pelican Point bird hide.
- If planning to camp, book at the nearby Balranald or check with local NSW National Parks authorities for seasonal closures.
