Xeropotamou Monastery is an Eastern Orthodox monastery located on the Mount Athos peninsula in Greece and is one of the autonomous monastic community’s ruling monasteries.

Xeropotamou Monastery is on the Mount Athos peninsula. Access to Mount Athos requires a special entry permit (a Diamonitirion) and is male-only; travelers normally reach the Athos monastic state via the port village of Ouranoupoli (Chalkidiki) and then by ferry to the main landing at Dafni or by boat to nearby ports. From Dafni visitors transfer by local boat or on foot along coastal/monastic tracks to reach individual monasteries - arrangements and exact transfers are handled locally once you have the required permit.
