White Factory

The White Factory (Biała Fabryka) is a 19th-century textile mill complex in the city of Łódź, Poland, notable as part of the city’s industrial heritage and nineteenth-century factory architecture.

The complex retains its industrial volumes and façades and has been repurposed to house museum spaces and exhibits relating to textile production and industrial history. The building is frequently described as one of the better-preserved examples of Łódź’s textile-era factory architecture.

Constructed during the industrial expansion of Łódź in the 19th century, the factory formed part of the city’s development as a major textile manufacturing centre. Later restorations adapted the complex for cultural uses and public access.

It stands within central Łódź’s historical textile district and is accessible from the city centre by local transport.
