How to Get to Webb Island #
These Antarctic islands are not served by public transport. Webb Island is reachable only as part of organised Antarctic expeditions: access is by ice‑strengthened expedition ship (or by helicopter arranged by an operator) from Antarctic gateway ports. The common gateway for Peninsula voyages is Ushuaia (Argentina); departures may also operate from Punta Arenas (Chile).

- These remote Antarctic islands are only visited on licensed expedition cruises during the austral summer (roughly November-March); plan to join an IAATO‑member operator to ensure landings are permitted and environmentally managed.
- Expect zodiac transfers and tightly scheduled shore visits-aim to be ready for the first landing of the day (weather permitting) if you want the calmest conditions and best wildlife viewing light.
- Follow guides' briefings and IAATO rules closely: landing zones are regulated, you must keep distances from wildlife, and personal access to certain beaches or rocks will be restricted for safety and conservation.
