The summit and surrounding slopes offer wooded hiking routes, local rock outcrops and viewpoints over nearby valleys and vineyards. Walks here are usually short to medium length and are combined with other local trails in the Little Carpathians conservation and recreation network.
The massif has long been used for forestry and recreation; paths were established to link nearby settlements with summer pastures and lookout points. Today the area is managed for conservation and outdoor recreation.
The peak lies within the Little Carpathians range in western Slovakia, in the Bratislava Region, forming part of the lower Carpathian foothills that run northwest of Bratislava and are interspersed with vineyards and small villages.
