Victory Square, Bucharest

Victory Square (Piața Victoriei) is a central traffic and civic square in Bucharest, Romania, located north of the historic city centre. It is one of Bucharest’s principal public spaces and a key administrative axis.

Architectural and urban highlights include the large government building known as Victoria Palace, which fronts the square and serves as the national government’s principal office. The square is also flanked by broad avenues and institutional buildings, making it an important point for both pedestrians and vehicular traffic.
