Maringá-Silvio Name Júnior Airport (MGF): About 120-150 km east of Umuarama, Maringá is the nearest medium-size airport with regular flights to São Paulo and other Brazilian hubs. From MGF you can take an intercity bus to Umuarama from the Maringá bus terminal (rodoviária) - expect about 2-2.5 hours and roughly R$50-R$100 depending on carrier - or a taxi/transfer for about R$250-R$400 and ~2 hours.

Road transfer by bus from Cascavel’s rodoviária takes around 1.5-2 hours and typically costs R$30-R$80; a private taxi or transfer can take about 1.5 hours and cost roughly R$200-R$350.

By Train & Bus
