Trevinca, often rendered as Pico Trevinca, is the highest mountain in Galicia on the Galicia-Castile and León border in northwestern Spain, reaching 2,127 meters. It is the highest point of the Galicia autonomous community.
The summit area is a broad high plateau with upland bogs and open granite terrain, used for hiking and nature observation rather than technical climbing. Routes approach the summit from multiple directions and are popular for day hikes and spring snow traverses.
The massif has been a traditional pastoral and upland landscape rather than a site of major built heritage; its significance is primarily geographical and ecological. Protected-area designations and local conservation initiatives apply in parts of the range.
Trevinca sits on the Galicia-Castile and León administrative boundary in northwestern Spain, forming part of the higher terrain between the provinces of Ourense and Zamora. The mountain lies well inland from the Atlantic coast, in a sparsely populated upland region.
