Tour Montparnasse is a commercial skyscraper in the Montparnasse quarter of Paris, Île-de-France, completed in the early 1970s and standing around 210 metres tall. It hosts offices and a public observation deck.
Constructed between the late 1960s and early 1970s as part of a commercial redevelopment of Montparnasse, the tower was for decades one of Paris’s tallest buildings and prompted changes to urban planning and tower construction in the city. The observation deck has been a continuous visitor facility since opening.
The tower sits in the Montparnasse area on Paris’s left bank, near major rail links such as Gare Montparnasse and within walking distance of the Montparnasse cemetery and surrounding neighbourhood.

It is served directly by the Montparnasse-Bienvenüe metro complex (lines 4, 6, 12 and 13); the tower and its observation deck are a very short walk from the station and from the mainline train station. If driving you can reach it via Boulevard du Montparnasse, though public transport is usually faster in central Paris.
