Three Crosses Square is a public square in central Warsaw known in Polish as Plac Trzech Krzyży. The square occupies a prominent position on the city’s historic Royal Route and is closely associated with the adjacent Church of the Holy Cross.
The church’s three prominent crosses are the origin of the square’s name, and the area is surrounded by period buildings, offices and some diplomatic missions. The square functions as a city crossroads and a local meeting point.
The square lies in the Śródmieście district of Warsaw and forms part of the sequence of streets and public spaces that link the old town with the Royal Castle and southern avenues.
