Teylingen Castle

Teylingen Castle (Kasteel Teylingen) is a medieval castle ruin located in South Holland in the area historically associated with the lords of Teylingen. The surviving remains include masonry of the central keep and parts of the defensive earthworks.

The ruin is visited for its historical significance and as a visible medieval landmark set in managed grounds. The site presents the core defensive structures that remain and is interpreted as a typical small medieval stronghold in the Dutch coastal plain.
