Strahlhorn is a high alpine summit in the canton of Valais, part of the Pennine Alps in Switzerland, with a summit elevation of about 4,190 metres. It is one of the region’s 4,000-metre peaks and is known to mountaineers for its glacier-covered slopes.
Routes to the summit typically involve glacier crossings and high-alpine terrain; it is climbed in summer and also attracts ski-mountaineers. The mountain forms part of the broad High-Alpine ridge running through Valais.
