The Stone town of Kuklica is a compact field of natural rock pillars and hoodoos near the village of Kuklica in Rankovce Municipality, North Macedonia. It is notable for its unusual columnar forms produced by differential erosion.
A short walk across the site reveals dozens of upright stone pillars and columns formed from more resistant rock layers; many reach several metres in height and stand in small groups. The formations are easily viewed on foot from simple paths and a short roadside parking area.
The columns are the result of long-term natural erosion processes acting on local rock and sediment; local folklore also supplies origin stories that are commonly told at the site. There is no known man-made construction involved in their creation.
