The Statue of Decebalus is a large rock relief carved into a cliff face on the Danube near Orșova in Caraș-Severin County, Romania. It depicts the head of Decebalus, the last king of Dacia, and is notable for its large scale.
The sculpture rises directly from the riverbank and is visible from the water and from viewpoints on the nearby road. It measures roughly 55 meters in height and dominates the immediate riverside landscape, forming a striking modern landmark along the Danube.
The project was commissioned and financed by Iosif Constantin Drăgan and was carved into the rock face during the late 20th and early 21st centuries, with completion in the early 2000s. It was created as a nationalist monument referencing the ancient Dacian kingdom.
