The Staatliche Antikensammlungen in Munich is the State Collection of Antiquities housing Greek, Etruscan and Roman art. The museum’s displays focus on ceramics, sculpture and small antiquities from the ancient Mediterranean.

The collection was assembled from royal and state holdings during the 19th century and has been displayed in purpose-designed museum spaces in the Königsplatz complex. The museum remains one of Germany’s principal public collections of classical antiquities.
