Solnitsata

Solnitsata is an archaeological site and prehistoric settlement near the modern town of Provadiya in Varna Province, northeastern Bulgaria, associated with early salt production. It is recognised for remains dating to the late Neolithic and Chalcolithic periods, when salt extraction supported settled communities.
