The regular public ferry departs from Church Point (about 45 minutes north of Sydney CBD by car via Pittwater Road). From Church Point, the trip to Scotland Island takes roughly 10-15 minutes. There is no car ferry; visitors arrive by passenger ferry, private boat or water taxi. From Sydney CBD, allow 1-1.25 hours by car or train plus a short drive; parking at Church Point is limited on summer weekends.
