Schloss Meseberg

Schloss Meseberg is an 18th-century baroque palace north of Berlin in Brandenburg, Germany, set in an estate of parkland and formal gardens. It is the German federal government’s official state guest house.

The palace complex contains reception rooms and conference spaces used for bilateral meetings and official events, and the park provides the estate setting for those functions. Public visits are possible only on limited occasions because of government use.

The estate dates from the baroque period and has been adapted and restored over time to serve as an official guest house; restoration and modern facilities were installed before the site began hosting state visits in the early 21st century.

The palace stands in the village of Meseberg near Gransee in Brandenburg, roughly north of Berlin and reachable by road from the capital in about an hour to 90 minutes depending on traffic.
