Sasseneire is a mountain in the Valais canton of Switzerland, in the Pennine Alps, rising to an elevation around 3,250 metres. It is a recognized summit for hikers and mountaineers in the Anniviers valley.
Routes to the summit run from valley villages such as Ayer and offer ridge walking and alpine terrain typical of the region, with panoramic views over neighbouring peaks and glaciers.

How to Get to Sasseneire #

From Grimentz or Ayer follow marked alpine trails and local waymarks toward the Moiry / Sasseneire routes; alpine huts and trailheads are signposted in the valley. For technical climbs, consult local guides in Grimentz or Zinal.
