The Sanctuary of Loyola is a religious complex in Azpeitia, in Spain’s Basque Country, centred on the birthplace of St. Ignatius of Loyola and a large basilica. It is an important Roman Catholic pilgrimage site associated with the founder of the Society of Jesus.

The preserved family tower-house where Ignatius was born and the basilica that forms the main liturgical and architectural focus of the sanctuary. The complex also contains museum displays and facilities for pilgrims and visitors.

The site developed around the 16th-century figure of Ignatius of Loyola; over subsequent centuries the birthplace was incorporated into a larger religious complex and the basilica and associated buildings were built to accommodate pilgrimage and worship. The sanctuary has been maintained as both a historic site and an active place of devotion.

The sanctuary stands in the town of Azpeitia in Gipuzkoa, on the northern slopes of the Basque uplands. It is a local landmark within the Basque Country and is reached from regional road links and nearby towns in the province.
