José Joaquín de Olmedo (Guayaquil) (GYE): Guayaquil is the main international airport serving Ecuador’s coast. From Guayaquil you can take an intercity bus to Salinas; the road transfer typically takes about 2-3 hours depending on traffic and the exact route.
Salinas (General Ulpiano Páez) (SNW): Salinas has a small regional airport/airstrip used occasionally for private or charter flights. Most travellers use Guayaquil for scheduled commercial flights and then travel by road to Salinas.
Bus / Coach: Frequent buses connect Guayaquil and Salinas with journey times roughly 2-3 hours. Buses depart from Guayaquil’s main terminals and are an affordable, reliable way to reach the beach town; some private shuttles run as well.
