The Royal Monastery of Brou (Monastère Royal de Brou) is a monumental convent complex in Bourg-en-Bresse, France, founded as a dynastic funerary project and completed in the early 16th century. It is recognised for its exceptionally ornate stone carving, sculpted tombs and richly detailed chapels.

The principal attractions are the funerary chapels and tomb monuments, elaborate choir and carved altarpieces, and the cloistered spaces that create a compact ecclesiastical ensemble. Decorative detail and sculptural programs dominate the interior, reflecting Burgundian and Renaissance patronage.

The monastery was commissioned by Margaret of Austria in memory of her husband and built between the early 1500s and the 1530s; it served as both a religious house and a dynastic memorial. Over centuries the site has been conserved and restored to retain its original sculptural programs and architectural fabric.

The complex sits in Bourg-en-Bresse, in the Ain department of eastern France, roughly 35 km north of Lyon, set within the town rather than an isolated rural site.
