Rosenstein Park is a large public English-style landscape park in Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, laid out in the early 19th century and closely associated with the nearby Rosenstein Castle.
The park contains broad lawns, tree-lined avenues, ponds and terraced paths suited for walking, jogging and informal recreation. The most conspicuous structure inside the grounds is Rosenstein Castle, a 19th-century palace set on a prominent slope.
The park and castle were developed in the early 1800s as part of royal landscaping and building projects for the Kingdom of Württemberg; the castle was later repurposed to house museum and exhibition functions. Over time the grounds have remained a public green space integrated with adjacent cultural institutions.
The park sits on the eastern edge of central Stuttgart along the Neckar valley, directly beside the Wilhelma zoo and botanical garden and a short distance from the city center.
- Proximity to Wilhelma: Sits immediately adjacent to the Wilhelma zoological-botanical garden, making it easy to visit both sites in one trip.
- Good viewpoints: Park paths and terraces provide elevated views over the Neckar valley and parts of eastern Stuttgart, useful for photography and easy walks.
