Rocroi

Rocroi is a small fortified town in the Ardennes region of northeastern France, notable for its well-preserved star-shaped ramparts and bastioned fortifications. The town’s distinctive geometric plan is visible from approaches and forms a coherent example of early modern military urbanism.
