How to Get to Rochers de Naye #
Rochers de Naye is reached by the Montreux-Glion-Rochers-de-Naye cog railway from Montreux. Board the rack railway at Montreux station (lakeside) for the direct scenic ascent to the summit station; the train journey is the standard way to reach the peak.
Montreux is the nearest major rail hub - the cog railway station is a few minutes’ walk from Montreux main station and lakeside promenade. Driving up the mountain is possible but the cog railway is the usual recommended access.

- Take the Montreux-Glion-Rochers-de-Naye cog railway from Montreux; the earliest trains give you the best chance at clear views and quieter summit paths.
- Allow extra time at the summit for the Marmottes Paradis (marmot park) and the short walks along the ridge-many visitors rush the viewpoint and miss the marmot enclosure and alpine gardens.
- Avoid weekend midday arrivals during high season; if you can't go early, aim for later afternoon when day-trippers begin to leave and light for photography is often better.
