Reichsburg Cochem is a hilltop castle overlooking the town of Cochem on the Moselle River in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. The site has medieval origins and was rebuilt in the 19th century in a historicist Gothic Revival style.

How to Get to Reichsburg Cochem #
Reichsburg Cochem overlooks the town of Cochem on the Moselle. From Cochem town centre the castle is a short, steep walk uphill (about 10-20 minutes) or a short drive/taxi to the castle car park; the town is also served by Cochem railway station on the Moselle line, a short taxi or walk to the base of the hill. By road the castle/town is reached via the Bundesstraße B49 that runs along the Moselle; Koblenz is the nearest larger city, roughly 35-40 km by road upstream along the river.
