Rancagua is most commonly reached from Santiago's Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez Airport (SCL); there are no scheduled commercial flights into Rancagua itself. The easiest public options are intercity buses or regional trains from Santiago - both connect to the city's bus terminal and Estación Rancagua.

By Air

From SCL you can take the airport shuttle (Centropuerto / TurBus) to Santiago bus terminals (around CLP 1,800-2,500, ~30-40 min) and then an intercity bus to Rancagua (see bus details below), or book a direct private transfer/taxi to Rancagua (drive time ~1h15-1h40 depending on traffic; private transfer/taxi typically CLP 60,000-90,000).
