Radan is a mountain in southern Serbia characterised by forested slopes, karst terrain and distinctive erosional landforms. The massif is a regional natural landmark and is popular for day hikes and geological sightseeing.

The mountain is best known for the nearby natural monument Đavolja Varoš (Devil’s Town) - a field of unusual stone pillars formed by long-term erosion - and for the surrounding trails that traverse mixed beech and conifer forest. The area also lies close to thermal spa facilities that are frequented by visitors.

Radan’s landscape results from geological processes that produced karst features, cliffs and valleys, and it has been used for recreation and local grazing historically.

The mountain sits in southern Serbia near the town of Kuršumlija and the spa of Prolom Banja.

  • Devil's Town: Famous for the Đavolja Varoš rock formations - eroded stone pillars and towers that form a distinctive landscape feature.
  • Nearby spa: Proximity to the spa resort of Prolom Banja makes the area a combined destination for nature walks and thermal spa visits.
