Qemal Stafa Stadium was a major sports venue in Tirana, Albania, named for the national figure Qemal Stafa. The stadium served as Albania’s principal football venue and hosted national team matches and domestic league fixtures for decades.
The ground opened in the mid-20th century and underwent several renovations before being taken down as part of plans to replace it with a modern national stadium complex. It was a central facility in Albanian sports culture and used by clubs from Tirana and the Albanian national team.
Situated close to Tirana’s city centre, the stadium occupied a prominent urban location and served as a focal point for major sporting and public events in the capital.

From the square it is roughly a 10-20 minute walk depending on route; central Tirana is also served by local buses and taxis that stop nearby.
