Prisojnik

Prisojnik (also called Prisank in some languages) is a prominent peak of the Julian Alps in northwestern Slovenia, rising to 2,547 metres and noted for its steep north face and a large natural rock window called Okno.

The mountain is popular with experienced hikers and climbers for its exposed routes and dramatic limestone features; standard approaches include ridgelines accessed from the Vršič pass and nearby valleys. The Okno window is an iconic natural formation visible from several vantage points.

Geologically the peak is composed of limestone typical of the Julian Alps and forms part of the high alpine landscape used for mountaineering and alpine tourism. Trails and fixed routes provide seasonal access, with alpine conditions outside the short summer window.

Prisojnik stands within the broader Julian Alps region near the Vršič pass and the resort town of Kranjska Gora, forming a visible landmark in northwestern Slovenia.
