Prince of Wales Island (also known by its indigenous name Muralag) is a large island in the Torres Strait off the northern tip of Queensland, Australia. It is one of the major islands in the Torres Strait archipelago and is part of the state of Queensland.

The island is traditionally owned and inhabited by Torres Strait Islander peoples and contains coastal environments typical of the region, including mangroves, beaches and tropical vegetation. It is remote and accessed from other Torres Strait communities rather than by major urban centres.
