How to Get to Poya, New Caledonia
Poya (La Poya) in New Caledonia's North Province is best reached by road from Nouméa. La Tontouta (NOU) is the main international airport; domestic flights are limited so overland coaches, private transfers or rental cars are the practical options.

From Nouméa you can transfer by taxi or shuttle to the domestic network; travel to the North Province is commonly arranged via road transfers from Nouméa - expect several hours by car depending on destination. Taxi/shuttle from Nouméa to central transfer points is roughly 45-60 minutes to Nouméa city then much longer by road north.
Magenta (Nouméa Magenta) (GEA): Magenta handles domestic/regional flights and is close to Nouméa city centre. From Magenta you’ll usually connect by road (taxi or rented vehicle) for journeys into the North Province; domestic flight options are limited for small communes, so overland travel is common.
