Seasonal public shuttles run in high season with fares typically around €8-€15.
Bastia-Poretta (BIA) / Ajaccio Napoleon Bonaparte (AJA): These are island gateways with longer transfers by road (1.5-3 hours to Porto-Vecchio). Use them only if you need a particular flight; transfers from these airports are usually by intercity coach or rental car.
Train: Corsica’s railway does not reach Porto-Vecchio - there is no direct rail service to the town.
Bus: Regional buses and shuttle services connect Porto-Vecchio with Figari, Bastia and Ajaccio, but many routes are seasonal and less frequent outside summer. Ticket prices for intercity buses on the island are commonly €5-€20 depending on distance; check local seasonal timetables in advance.
