A gate in Rome’s Aurelian Walls located on the Pincian Hill area, adjacent to the Villa Borghese parkland that overlooks central Rome.
Constructed as part of the Aurelian Walls in the late 3rd century AD, the gate has undergone later restorations and changes in use as Rome’s urban boundaries shifted. It remained a named entrance point on maps and in urban routes through subsequent centuries.
Located on the northeastern side of the historic centre, adjacent to the Pincian Hill and Villa Borghese in the Lazio region of Rome.
