Pont‑Aven is a small Brittany village known for its art heritage; it's better reached by road or via nearby railheads (Quimper or Rosporden) with a short bus or taxi transfer. Once there the village is compact and easy to explore on foot.

By Air

Quimper-Cornouaille (UIP): The nearest regional airport to Pont‑Aven is Quimper-Cornouaille. From Quimper airport or Quimper city centre you can take local buses or a taxi to Pont‑Aven (around 30-40 minutes by road).

Lorient South Brittany (LRT): Lorient is also nearby and can be an alternative depending on flights; from Lorient you’ll make a short road transfer by taxi or bus to Pont‑Aven and neighbouring villages.

By Train & Bus

Train: Pont‑Aven does not have a mainline train station. The nearest rail stations are Quimper and Rosporden (Gare de Rosporden), served by TER Bretagne; from either station you take a local bus or taxi to Pont‑Aven (15-35 minutes).
