Santa Rosa Airport (ETR) / General regional airports: Piñas (El Oro Province) is most often reached via regional airports such as Santa Rosa or by road from larger hubs. Scheduled international flights are limited; many travellers arrive via Guayaquil (José Joaquín de Olmedo, GYE) and continue by road.
José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport (GYE): From Guayaquil you can take a bus to Machala or directly to Piñas; the bus ride Guayaquil→Piñas/Machala area typically takes 3-4 hours and fares are commonly USD 3-8 depending on operator.
Train: Ecuador has only limited tourist rail services and no regular national passenger rail suitable for reaching Piñas.
